Position Summary
Nesco Resource s is seeking a motivated Day Shift Assistant Operator to support production operations within the (NP) department. This position assists machine operators in maintaining efficient production, ensuring product quality, and supporting a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist operators with machine setup, operation, and changeovers.
- Monitor production processes and help maintain product quality standards.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines.
- Perform routine quality checks and report any defects or process concerns.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Keep work areas clean and organized following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor equipment issues and notify supervisors of major concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
- Support production goals by working effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work around moving machinery and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule
Night Shift
12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-4 schedule) as assigned.
6:45 PM - 7AM
Pay Rate
$21.00/hr
