Position Summary:
Nesco Resource is seeking a Night Shift Quality Auditor for a manufacturing facility in Gray Court, SC. This position is responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality standards by performing inspections, testing materials, documenting results, and working closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality testing according to established procedures and customer specifications.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify and report product defects, process deviations, or non-conforming materials.
- Work closely with production operators and supervisors to resolve quality issues.
- Verify product measurements and specifications using measuring tools and testing equipment.
- Perform product sampling and retain samples as required.
- Assist with investigations of quality concerns and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO requirements, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
- Experience in nonwoven, textile, or industrial manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Ability to use measuring devices and inspection equipment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
