Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead and support production operations within a fast-paced textile manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and productive work environment during a 12-hour night shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of approximately 30–40 production employees during a 12-hour night shift
- Ensure production schedules, efficiency goals, and output targets are achieved while maintaining established quality standards.
- Monitor daily operations and address issues impacting productivity, efficiency, quality, or safety.
- Communicate expectations, operational updates, and performance feedback clearly to team members and management.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
- Track, maintain, and report production metrics using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Outlook for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and management teams to resolve production and equipment issues.
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repetitively.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
- Previous experience in textile dyeing, printing, or finishing processes preferred.
- Strong ability to manage, motivate, and develop employees in a high-volume production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a rotating 3/4 day weekly schedule.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in hot manufacturing environments and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely work around machinery, chemicals, and production equipment.
Payrate:
$50,000 or more depending on exp.
Work Schedule:
7pm – 7am
