Overview
Client is seeking a .NET Application Support Developer to support and maintain Aerospace CSO applications, including homegrown web applications used for production support, backlog management, warranty claims, technical publications, and repair history. This role will focus on troubleshooting production issues, resolving user-reported bugs, supporting enhancement requests, and developing scalable application updates within a .NET environment.
Core Responsibilities
Monitor production support queues and respond to user questions, bugs, and application issues.
Support and maintain existing CSO web applications, including Encompass, Backlog Management, Warranty Claim, Tech Pubs, and Repair History.
Work with stakeholders to understand existing systems, application strategy, and business requirements.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to define functional and non-functional requirements for .NET applications.
Estimate development and support work for application enhancements and issue resolution.
Translate storyboards, use cases, and requirements into functional application updates.
Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
Develop and review API scripts and application enhancements.
Support code quality, organization, maintainability, and automation.
Perform unit, integration, system, and downstream/upstream integration testing.
Coordinate with system owners to support required application integrations.
Provide regular status updates, issue tracking, risk updates, and weekly activity reporting.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
Experience supporting and maintaining production web applications.
Strong experience with Classic ASP.
Strong experience with ASP.NET and .NET Framework 4.5.
C# development experience.
Experience with .NET WCF and RESTful Web API services.
Strong T-SQL experience.
Strong database development skills, including tables, views, and stored procedures.
JavaScript and CSS experience.
Ability to analyze existing systems and recommend practical technical solutions.
Experience troubleshooting production issues, bugs, and user-reported application problems.
Ability to support integration testing across upstream and downstream systems.
U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident required.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Experience supporting aerospace, warranty, repair history, technical publications, backlog management, or CSO-related applications.
Experience working with system owners and business users in a production support environment.
Experience providing weekly status updates, issue tracking, and risk reporting.

Work arrangement: Onsite strongly preferred; remote or hybrid may be considered for the right candidate.
