NDT Technician II (X-Ray / Radiography)

Overview
We are partnering with an established aerospace manufacturing organization seeking an experienced NDT Technician II specializing in radiographic (X-ray) inspection. This role is responsible for performing advanced non-destructive testing, interpreting results, and supporting quality initiatives across production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic (X-ray) inspections for acceptance or rejection of components based on defined criteria
- Set up and standardize NDT equipment and processes
- Interpret inspection results and accurately document findings
- Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable standards
- Support and guide Level I technicians and trainees
- Develop work instructions from approved procedures (subject to Level III approval)
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality systems
- Collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Qualifications
- Certified NDT Level II in Radiography (or equivalent experience working toward certification)
- Strong understanding of NDT methods, techniques, and limitations
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Ability to document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Experience
- Background in aerospace, gas turbine, or automotive manufacturing
- Experience with quality systems (audits, corrective actions, MRB, document control, etc.)
- Familiarity with OEM specifications and certification requirements
- Exposure to airfoil or similar precision components
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material defect characteristics
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. in compliance with ITAR regulations
- Employment eligibility verification required at time of hire
