NDT Level II (Ultrasonic Testing)

A growing aerospace investment casting manufacturer is seeking an experienced NDT Level II (UT)
Technician to join its quality team. This hands-on role is responsible for performing ultrasonic thickness inspections on investment castings to verify wall thickness, identify core shift, and ensure products meet customer and industry quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasonic thickness inspections on aerospace investment castings.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate UT inspection equipment.
- Evaluate inspection results and determine product acceptance or rejection.
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with production to support manufacturing schedules.
- Perform equipment performance checks and follow applicable industry standards.
- Provide guidance and training to Level I technicians as needed.
- NDT Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience performing UT inspections in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret inspection results and applicable specifications.
- Knowledge of equipment calibration and inspection documentation.
- Aerospace or investment casting experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
