Job Summary:
The Model Maker I will work with various composite and 3D printed materials and maintain the work
area in a clean and orderly condition. The Model Maker I will be mentored and supported by team
members on project work and customer interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Surface parts and fit components for assemblies.
Develop composite tooling and molds.
Create foam plank build-ups.
Laminate with epoxy resins and carbon composites.
Participate in vac-form disciplines.
Operate shop equipment, including hand tools, and perform preventive maintenance.
Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.
Education and Experience (required):
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 previous experience required.
Education and Experience (preferred):
Certificate in Autobody, Automotive Technology or related.
Valid driver s license.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (required):
Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Has own tools with toolbox.
Ability to read, comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions.

Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
