MILL HELPER - NEEDED IN YOUGSTOWN- DIRECT HIRE
Position Summary
Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and motivated Mill Helpe r
to join a manufacturing team. This position supports machine operators with daily production activities, material handling, equipment setup, and packaging of finished products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist machine operators with equipment setup, operation, and teardown.

Load and position steel coils onto payoff reels.

Operate jib cranes to move materials safely.

Set up and dismantle exit-end racking.
-
Stack, band, wrap, and package finished products according to specifications.

Assist with cleaning, painting, and maintaining production equipment.

Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow production instructions and safety procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
-
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Dependable attendance, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
