MILL HELPER MANUFACTURING
Position Summary
Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable, hardworking Mill Helper to support daily manufacturing operations. This hands-on position involves assisting machine operators, handling materials, preparing finished products, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist machine operators with equipment setup, operation, and teardown.

Load steel coils onto payoff reels and operate jib cranes.

Set up and dismantle production racking.

Stack, band, wrap, and package finished products according to specifications.

Assist with cleaning, painting, and maintaining equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow production instructions and safety procedures.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus.

Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and team-oriented attitude.
