Put your welding skills to work with a company that values quality craftsmanship! Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder for a client's fabrication team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience MIG welding galvanneal sheet metal and TIG welding aluminum who takes pride in clean, accurate welds.
What You'll Do

Perform MIG welding on galvanneal sheet metal and TIG welding on aluminum components.

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.

Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment.

Weld thin-gauge materials while minimizing burn-through and warping.

Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, appearance, and accuracy.

Assist with fabrication, fitting, and assembly.

Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain an organized workspace.
What You'll Bring

At least 2 years of MIG welding experience; galvanneal or sheet metal experience preferred.

Experience TIG welding aluminum.

Ability to read blueprints and work with thin-gauge materials.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Additional Skills That Stand Out

Fabrication and layout experience.

Production manufacturing experience.

Knowledge of welding symbols and GD&T.

MIG and/or TIG welding certifications; AWS preferred.

Work Environment
Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to welding fumes, heat, and noise. Wear welding helmets, gloves, and other required PPE.
