Position Summary
This position involves the assembly, repair, and testing of medical devices in a manufacturing environment. The role requires precision work, including the constant use of a microscope and handling of small components to ensure high-quality product standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, repair, and testing of:
- Pacemakers
- Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs)
- Leads and related medical device components
- Use a microscope consistently to complete detailed tasks
- Handle and maneuver small components with accuracy and care
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure product integrity
- Follow standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines
Required Experience
- Manufacturing experience (required)
- Assembly experience, preferably in medical devices
- Experience working with microscopes
- Background in quality and inspection processes
Key Skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel)
- High attention to detail and manual dexterity
