Description:
Job duties include but not limited to manufacturing parts to a written shop order and part print. Must be a team player and willing to support operators daily as needed. Candidate should have an inherent mechanical aptitude and self-motivated. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a technical machine operator or machine support position.
Duties:
- Mechanically assemble parts according to blueprint specifications
- Machine setup and operation
- Basic maintenance of different machines
Skills/Qualifications:
- Attention to detail/quality oriented
- Strong mechanical ability
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills
- Knowledge of measuring equipment such as ruler and calipers.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.
- Must be a team player and able to work well with others.
- Must be willing to work 40 hours a week plus scheduled overtime, weekdays and/or Saturdays.
- Machine Shop experience with manual machines.
- Machine Over-Hauler or Fixer.
