Nesco Resource is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our client's team at their Bristol, CT location.
This is a great opportunity for a mechanical engineering graduate with 2-3 years of experience looking for a position with growth potential.
SUMMARY
The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating and updating client mechanical drawings using Creo software. This position requires strong skills using Creo or SolidWorks and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating and updating current drawings using Creo
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Demonstrated experience with Creo desired but will also consider candidates with at least 2 years of experience with SolidWorks or comparable 3D modeling software
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Direct hire position with benefits
- 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm core hours but offers flexible start time between 6am – 9am
- Salary range: $65K - $70K depending on experience and education
