Searching for reliable, task-oriented individuals to fill Assembler positions at the Port of Catoosa. This positions entails building and installing piping, valves, gauges, relief devices, burners, and related components on pressure vessels and equipment skids. The ideal candidate is self-driven, comfortable juggling multiple tasks, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Pay:$22+ per hour
Duties/Requirements:
- Show up on time, every time — consistent attendance keeps the whole team on track.
- Safely operate hand, air, and power tools.
- Inspect components for defects and confirm they meet quality standards.
- Check all fittings and connections for proper sealing.
- Log and track vessel parts and components accurately.
- Get parts and vessels ready for hydrostatic testing according to company, customer, and regulatory guidelines.
- Help load outgoing shipments.
- Bring a positive attitude and buy into the company's core values.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines.
- Cut and thread pipe as needed.
- Fit, align, and seal flanged piping.
- Take on other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of experience in heavy assembly, manufacturing, or material handling (or equivalent)
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift and crane certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable with basic math and reading a tape measure
- Willingness to learn pressure gauge types and how to read them
- Ability to read blueprints and bills of materials
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and pass onboarding assessments
- Must be able to bend, stand, stoop, twist and lift without accomodations
- Strong eye for quality and defect detection
