WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Repair and maintain a diversified fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment
-
Perform preventive maintenance according to company guidelines
-
Complete oil and filter changes, tire and brake service, greasing, lighting repairs, and operational checks
-
Diagnose mechanical issues and accurately complete repairs
-
Inspect vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs
-
Ensure repairs meet Federal DOT and Commercial Motor Carrier standards

Document all repairs and recommended service
-
Safely operate tools and equipment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
-
2+ years of truck, trailer, diesel, or heavy-duty mechanical experience
-
Valid driver's license
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and regularly stand, stoop, kneel, and crawl
-
Must have the minimum tools needed to perform maintenance and repairs
-
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
-
Motivated, proactive, organized, and professional
GREAT IF YOU HAVE

Valid CDL
-
NYS Heavy Duty Inspector License
-
Willingness to obtain an NYS Heavy Duty Inspector License
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to successfully complete a background check and DOT-required drug screening.
