Position Overview
A reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Special Projects Support Associate to assist with various materials and inventory-related projects. This role will support operational initiatives that require physical inventory counts, data collection, equipment operation, and material verification. The  ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, follow directions, manage time  effectively, and accurately collect and report data.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm (30 min lunch, 2-10 min breaks)  Any OT must be authorized ahead of time.


Essential Responsibilities
• Conduct physical inventory and cycle count activities.
• Count, verify, and reconcile material quantities in designated locations.
• Operate motorized material-handling equipment safely, including forklifts and other 
powered industrial vehicles (as authorized and trained).
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and basic technical documents.
• Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Utilize small and large scales to weigh materials and record results.
• Gather, organize, and maintain project-related data using Microsoft Excel.
• Create labels and place them in specific material locations
• Create and update spreadsheets to support inventory accuracy and project reporting.
• Assist with material audits, warehouse organization, and inventory validation projects.
• Document findings and communicate progress to project leadership.
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies.
• Work independently while managing priorities and meeting project deadlines.
• Perform other special project assignments as directed by supervisor/manager.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately count and verify inventory.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and spreadsheet management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, or schematics.
• Ability to use a tape measure and read measurements accurately.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with limited supervision.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, inventory control, or materials experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment.
• Experience conducting inventory counts or cycle counts.
• Familiarity with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse systems.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move up to 35 pounds. (Constant pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and lifting)
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as needed.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely.
