Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for Material Handlers/Forklift Drivers
for a Manufacturing/Logistics client of ours in Canton, Michigan.
Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday – Friday, with some OT Saturdays
Location: Canton, MI
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
Job Duties:
- Use forklift to move product throughout facility
- Unload truck containers and take products to designated location
- Bring product from designated location to the shipping dock and/or load into a truck
- Inspect, tally and label products
- Verifying that paperwork matches the freight for Shipping and Receiving
- Utilize an activity sheet to keep track of warehouse orders
- Ensure physical inventory count matches warehouse management system count
- Use FIFO method to stage products
- Use RF scanners for all product movement to ensure inventory control
- Sort and handle packaging materials like pallets, recyclables and dunnage
Skills/Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required
- Min of 1 year of Material Handling and Forklift experience required
- RF scanner experience, preferred
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs
