Material Handler Job Responsibilities:
Monitor production activity to determine material needs
Identify correct raw materials/work-in-process and transport to appropriate work center as indicated on the job traveler
Load coils on uncoilers and pans as necessary
Load blanks for secondary operations by machines Remove in-process or finished parts from machines when production operations are completed
Remove scrap and dump in appropriate bins
Unload incoming materials
Load outgoing in-process or finished goods
Perform daily tow-motor inspections per inspection checklist
Assemble packaging containers/pack parts when required Physical Requirements:
Subject to frequent lifting up to 50 Lbs.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
Ability to be self-sufficient in monitoring material/component needs in press room
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Hourly Pay: $18/hour with possible overtime
Work Week: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, overtime on Fridays when necessary
