Summary
Support production by moving, staging, and tracking raw materials and finished goods in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload and move materials (steel, piping, fabricated parts)
- Supply production areas (welding, cutting, fabrication)
- Operate forklift and/or overhead crane
- Verify shipments and organize inventory
- Stage materials for work orders and production schedules
- Assist with packaging and shipping
- Ability to work outdoor
- Must be able to work outside in all adverse weather conditions
- 2+ year of material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Manufacturing or metal experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods
- Basic reading of work orders and labels
- Ability to read tape measure
