Job Summary
The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate areas in a timely and efficient manner. This position supports manufacturing and assembly operations by performing physical and systematic material movements, processing transactions within the ERP system, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform material movements both physically and systematically within the ERP system.
- Generate work orders using the ERP system.
- Process work order receipts in the ERP system.
- Perform cycle counts as required to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with the coordination and flow of products and materials through manufacturing and assembly operations as needed.
- Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Handle chemicals in designated areas, following all applicable safety procedures and requirements. Proper training will be provided.
- Work overtime as required to meet business needs.
- Support Company initiatives, as directed by management, and comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other applicable regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and assigned tasks.
- Maintain positive, professional, and cooperative communication and collaboration with employees at all levels, as well as customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
