to join a global manufacturing leader in Rochester, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity

Shift:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay:$22.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipping transactions
- Post receipts, and material transfers to warehouse, sales orders or networks
- Process and track inventory transfers, vendor or quality returns in a timely and accurate manner
- Unpack, pack and sort materials
- Receive vendor and internal shipments
- Provide support to warehouse, stock or inventory functions
- Load and unload tractor trailers with manual pallet jacks, electric power jacks
- Organize material in warehouse racks using inventory system
- Adhere to prescribed rust prevention and protection standards
- Physical inventory and cycle counts of warehouse materials
- Actively participate in ongoing 5S Program
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail or shipping/receiving environment (preferred)
- Basic computer skills which include the ability to create and save text documents and to create and send emails
- Detail-orientation in performing accurate transactions
- Self-motivated and multi-tasks with minimal supervision
- Proactively meets both internal and external customer needs.
- Effective work methods and consistently meets commitments
- Uses sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills - clear, concise and positive.
- Display a strong sense of urgency in researching, tracking and correcting problems in a timely
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent reaching, bending, and movement around machinery
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards
