Material Handler

$18.00 per hour
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler for a growing company located in Shelton, CT. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who is looking for a stable, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and scan customer orders using a scan gun
- Palletize materials and prepare shipments for trucks
- Use measuring devices to verify product specifications
- Perform basic material cutting using a chop saw
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Experience using measuring devices such as tape measures or calipers
- Ability to safely operate a chop saw
- Ability to lift, move, and palletize materials throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
