Material Handler

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Material Handler to support a high-volume logistics team. This role is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse experience who are comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Pay Rate:
- $18.00 – $19.00/Hour
Shift:
- Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inbound receiving and put-away of materials
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Count and verify individual packages and pallets
- Use RF handheld scanners for inventory tracking
- Process outbound shipments (domestic and international)
- Handle customer returns and related documentation
- Load trucks and ocean containers
- Operate warehouse equipment and use safety tools (banding equipment, safety knives, etc.)
- Perform cycle counting and assist with inventory control
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Comfortable performing repetitive motions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Team-oriented with commitment to safety (HSE standards)
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Warehouse/logistics environment
- Frequent lifting, bending, and standing
- Fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Must follow all safety and PPE requirements
