Job Summary
Keeping materials moving efficiently from receiving to storage, production and shipping, with a strong focus on receiving incoming goods.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, inspect for damage, and verify accuracy against packing lists.
- Maintain accurate inventory by updating transactions in the system.
- Organize and store materials in the correct locations.
- Pull and deliver materials to production and staging areas on time.
- Prepare, package, and ship finished products according to instructions.
- Assist with documentation and daily data entry.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage to prevent damage.
- Follow FIFO (first in, first out) inventory practices.
- Support quality inspections and report any discrepancies.
Job Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Ability to safely lift, move and handle materials
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of material handling, warehouse or related experience
