Nesco Resource is looking for a Manufacturing Technician located in Danbury, CT. This position will be either temp to perm or direct placement depending on the candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM

Pay: $19-$23/hour depending on experience

Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support the production of simple to highly complex PCB assemblies. This individual will assist with operating and maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting process changes, and helping ensure efficient day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support production of PCB assemblies, cable assemblies, and box builds.
  • Operate, program, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment as needed.
  • Assist with the maintenance and documentation of production equipment.
  • Work with equipment including SMT stencil printers, SPI, placement machines, reflow ovens, AOI, X-Ray, selective and wave soldering equipment, PCB routers, presses, labeling systems, conformal coating equipment, PCB wash systems, and inspection equipment.
  • Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues as they arise.
  • Review technical requests and assist with implementing manufacturing changes.
  • Help identify efficient ways to introduce process and production changes.
  • Assist with the development and use of build jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
  • Perform complex electronic rework, including work involving BGAs, QFNs, connectors, and other components.
  • Support team members and assist in other areas of production as business needs require.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a related technical field or at least 3 years of equivalent experience in a PCB assembly manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with production machinery and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working in electronics or PCB assembly manufacturing preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Experience with manufacturing software such as CircuitCAM and FactoryLogix is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player.
