We're partnering with a well-established industrial manufacturer seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee complex customer projects from order release through final shipment.
This is a highly visible role where you'll become the central point of communication between customers and internal teams, ensuring every project stays on schedule, within scope, and moving efficiently through engineering, purchasing, production, quality, and shipping.

What You'll Own
Project Management
- Lead multiple customer projects simultaneously from kickoff through final delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and critical timelines.
- Monitor project progress while identifying risks before they become delays.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with customer expectations and internal commitments.
Customer & Internal Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the life of each project.
- Provide regular project updates regarding schedule, milestones, and deliverables.
- Build strong relationships with customers while coordinating priorities across internal departments.
- Lead project meetings and communicate status to leadership and key stakeholders.
Manufacturing Coordination
- Partner closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Planning, Quality, and Shipping.
- Coordinate manufacturing schedules to support on-time completion.
- Help resolve production challenges that could impact project timelines.
- Support shipment planning and final product delivery.
Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ERP records.
- Improve communication, workflow efficiency, and project execution processes.
- Promote accountability while helping cross-functional teams achieve project goals.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of Project Management experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineered products environment
Experience managing multiple customer-driven projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production scheduling
Ability to coordinate engineering, purchasing, production, quality, and logistics activities
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to project execution
Experience with ERP systems and project scheduling software preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Industrial Management, or related field preferred
PMP certification or formal Project Management training is a plus

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based with frequent interaction throughout an active manufacturing facility. Regular collaboration with production, engineering, and operations teams is expected. PPE—including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear—is required when entering production areas. The manufacturing environment includes typical industrial conditions such as noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
