Job Role: Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Coaches and helps train other members of the team.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Helps other members of the department and/or other departments in the plant
Plan & prepare for upcoming job
Set-up operation of Product Branding, Labeling & Packaging Requirements
Supervises final product including and not limited of Labeling & Packaging
Follow Quality Test & Recording Requirements
Be aware of and adhere to all safety rules ®gulations
Safety & Quality: Demonstrates a regard for safety for self, others and property; is actively engaged in ensuring the quality of work being performed.
Quals--
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Must be able to take and follow verbal directions and communicate those directions to others
Good verbal and written skills
Good degree of analysis, problem solving and creativity
Must have basic math skills and be able to solve mathematical problems. Must also have some basic hand tool skills
1 years of manufacturing related experience
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. on a continuous basis
Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching daily
Able to work overtime and weekends
