Job Overview
Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and motivated Manufacturing Helper for a growing manufacturing facility in Lakeland. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing experience who are looking for stable, long-term employment on an overnight shift.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist production team members with daily manufacturing operations
- Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming production jobs
- Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures
- Read and interpret work instructions and production specifications
- Perform product branding, labeling, and packaging
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete required quality checks and production documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Support and assist with training other team members when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds on a continuous basis
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and stretching
- Must be dependable and willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
