Specific Responsibilities
- Develop Bill of Materials
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
- Prepare estimates of production times, labor requirements, equipment, materials and related costs to provide information for management decision.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software, preferably Catia V5, to create 3D models from 2D drawings and draw up manufacturing plans.
- Generate CAD drawings and product structures to accurately match and clearly communicate customer requirements.
- Develop design models & templates
- Define manufacturing tolerances
- Resolve problems utilizing acquired knowledge and analytical abilities
- Support shop and subcontractors regarding engineering concerns
- Minimum five (5) years manufacturing engineering experience from a related manufacturer
- Associate's Degree minimum with Bachelor's Degree, Engineering preferred
- Proficient with CAD software performing mechanical design, we use Catia V5
- Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing Techniques
- Proficient in MS Office
- ERP System experience, we use Epicor 10
- Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills
