This position is for 4/10B-2nd Shift - Tuesday - Friday. Start time 12 noon to 10pm.

Designs manufacturing processes procedures and production layouts for assemblies equipment installation processing machining and material handling.
Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
Inspects performance of machinery equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts to drive operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for creating efficient production workflows, integrating new technologies, and ensuring high quality manufacturing outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
•Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
•Integrate automation, robotics, and computer aided manufacturing software to improve efficiency.
•Create and analyze 3D model data to optimize work instructions and process flows.
•Evaluate equipment performance, including IoT devices, and initiate corrective actions.
•Utilize factory data to develop statistical process control and continuous improvement analytics.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experienced user of Computer Aided (CAD) software – 2+ yrs professional experience
• Working experience utilizing CAM software – 2+ yrs professional experience
• Working experience with G-code – 2+ yrs professional experience
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skills – 2+ yrs professional experience
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment. – 2+ yrs professional experience
• General understanding of Mil-Spec special processes (heat treatment, chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc.). 1+ yrs of professional experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. – 2+ yrs professional experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experience utilizing CREO or NX for CAD
• Experience utilizing CREO or NX for CAM
• Experience with chem film, paint applications and other special processes.
• Experience utilizing Vericut
• Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications.
• Effective project management.
• SAP
• Apriso
• Windchill PLM
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
