Prominent industry leader here in the Capital Region is looking for an FP&A Manager. Open to due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Senior-level Finance professional to help leads its financial planning and analysis processes. Working collaboratively with a well-established Finance team, this person would be working with Senior Leadership on complex financial planning and analysis, cost and variance analysis, and M&A. Key responsibilities would include:
Strategic financial partner to operations and supply chain, driving cost optimization and financial performance
Develop financial models to evaluate and measure cost-saving initiatives
Identify, calculate, and implement cost-saving strategies to boost productivity and return on investment
Build advanced financial models utilizing MS Excel and other tools to track savings and report KPIs
Oversee financial reporting as part of monthly close processes
Conduct monthly detailed variance analysis using combination of current and projected costs and profit and loss statements
Enhance and manage financial reporting packages for Senior Leadership and the Board
Work closely with senior leadership to provide financial acumen and outline short and long-term financial plans
Perform financial models that support KPI’s and treasury functions
Candidate profile should include:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting; Related discipline may be considered with relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in an FP&A/Corporate Finance focused role; experience in public accounting may be considered
- Strong MS Office expertise including advance MS Excel knowledge; additional experience in an ERP strong preferred
- Excellent communicative and organizational skills
