Maintenance Technician — 1st Shift | $30–$40/hr | Phoenix, AZ
Got a knack for fixing what's broken before it becomes a bigger problem? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician in Phoenix, AZ who's hands-on, mechanically minded, and ready to keep our production equipment and facility systems running like clockwork.

What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and production machinery
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Install and help set up new production equipment
- Service and maintain motors, machinery, and other production-related equipment
- Inspect equipment and catch mechanical or operational issues early
- Adjust, repair, and replace mechanical components using hand and machine tools
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs, modifications, or equipment upgrades
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Assist with basic plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical repairs
- Train production employees on routine preventive maintenance procedures
- Complete and submit maintenance documentation and reports
- Keep the work environment clean and safe by following company procedures, safety standards, and regulations
What You Bring — Required
- Working knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems
- Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Nice to Have
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
- 2–3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift
- Regular reaching, bending, stooping, sitting, and repetitive movements
- Lifting and handling materials of approximately 20–50 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to work extended hours or overtime as production needs require
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and production environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical equipment
- Possible exposure to loud noise, vibration, and temperature variations
