Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. This position will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mixing, and extrusion equipment. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, a solid manufacturing maintenance background, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
 
Job duties to include but not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mixing, and extrusion equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation drawings.
  • Perform mechanical repairs on conveyors, pumps, valves, motors, and mechanical drives.
  • Complete and document preventive maintenance and TPM activities.
  • Perform basic electrical repairs, welding/fabrication, and HVAC troubleshooting as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and permit-to-work requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide after-hours/weekend maintenance support and work overtime as needed.
  • Support equipment installations, modifications, and critical spare-parts planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:
  • HVAC troubleshooting
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Construction-related work, including concrete, masonry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
Qualifications & Skills
  • 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical/electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience coordinating or managing outside service providers for specialized equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and daily maintenance activities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams to identify problems and determine solutions.
  • Working knowledge of rotating equipment such as blowers, station equipment such as hoppers, and electric equipment such as motors.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Comfortable using workplace technology, including scheduling, inventory, and related software.
  • Ability to operate a tow motor and pallet jack.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including interior/exterior areas, confined spaces, elevated platforms, and heights.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
 
Hours of 3rd shift: Sunday evening to Friday morning - 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM
3rd Shift Premium: $1.50 per hour
 
There may be scheduled overtime on Saturday depending on business need.
