Nesco Resource is looking for a Maintenance Technician Assistant in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Schedule:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday- Friday
Pay:$20.00/hour
Position Overview:
Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial support. This role will troubleshoot mechanical issues, complete preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
- Conduct equipment and facility inspections
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations
- Operate a forklift (training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance, mechanical, or trades experience preferred
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, walking, and reaching
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
