Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Starting at $27.00/hr | **Earn more with Merit Increases over time!

Are you the person everyone calls when a machine decides to stop cooperating? We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who knows how to troubleshoot, repair, and keep production equipment running.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install and set up production machinery and equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical controls down to the component level

• Install control wiring, run conduit, pull wire, and terminate conductors

• Troubleshoot PLCs — programming is not required

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment rebuilds

• Maintain conveyors, robotics, and automated packaging equipment

• Troubleshoot sensors, photo-eyes, pneumatic cylinders, and MAC valves

• Operate and maintain boilers and steam tunnels

• Anchor equipment and assist with machine installations

• Use VOMs/multimeters, clamp meters, and other electrical test equipment

• Operate boom lifts and scissor lifts

• Handle general maintenance and repair duties as needed

Equipment Experience

Experience with some or all of the following is highly valuable:

• Conveyors

• Robotics

• Overwrappers

• Palletizers

• Shrink wrappers

• Casers

• Air compressors

• Boilers

• Steam tunnels

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma

• 2-3 years of packaging and equipment maintenance experience

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

• Solid mechanical aptitude

• Preventive maintenance and equipment repair experience

• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems

• Understanding of sensors, photo-eyes, PLC operation, and motor controls

• Experience with pneumatic systems

• Ability to safely operate boom lifts and scissor lifts

Pay Progression

• Starting:$27.00/hr

• 90 Days:$27.50/hr

• 6 Months:$28.00/hr

• 12 Months:$28.50/hr

• 24 Months:$29.00/hr
