Job Summary
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience or an Associate's Degree in Electronics/Electrical with 2 years of experience, or military training in a related field with an honorable discharge. Must meet a minimum of 11 out of 20 skill sets.
Essential Functions
- Provide service for repair and preventive maintenance on various machinery, including hydraulic controls, pneumatic controls, electrical, PLC, mechanical, welding, and machinist tasks.
- Demonstrate high proficiency and safety with hand tools.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer software, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair using electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
- Work individually or with a team on machine improvements.
- Possess communication skills to provide reports to supervisors and team members.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area.
- Understand LO/TO and adhere to safety rules and practices at all times.
- Show willingness to continue education and training to meet department goals.
- Must be flexible in work schedules.
Additional Responsibilities
- Annual fork-truck and boom lift certification tracking of technicians.
Education and Experience
- High School Graduate.
- Technical degrees or vocational certifications in the industrial maintenance field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
