The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a "handyman" mentality—someone who proactively identifies and addresses maintenance issues before they become larger problems. • Support equipment repairs and maintenance activities throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Read and follow electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with facility repairs, upkeep, and general maintenance projects.
  • Help identify potential maintenance concerns and address them proactively.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Lead to ensure equipment uptime and facility functionality.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of electrical schematics and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using hand tools and common maintenance equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to learn new equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or facility maintenance experience.
  • Experience working with hydraulics, electronics, or production equipment.
  • Welding or fabrication experience.
  • Preventative maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and machinery.
