Job Summary
The position is responsible for overseeing all maintenance functions throughout the facility. The supervisor will oversee a team of maintenance technicians (typically 8 to 10). This position reports directly to the Maintenance Superintendent.
Essential Functions
- Downtime tracking and analysis.
- Preventative maintenance tracking and analysis.
- Education tracking and scheduling for Maintenance Technicians.
- Perform audits (e.g., housekeeping, safety, lockout/tagout).
- Continuous Improvement.
- Time and attendance tracking for direct reports.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma.
- Technical degree(s) or vocational certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or a relevant field of study.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- 2-5 years management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills.
Qualifications/Skills
- Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, including but not limited to:
- PLC based hardware and software.
- Electrical control systems.
- Mechanical drive systems.
- Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems.
- HVAC/Chiller systems.
