Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, or Maintenance Leader who knows how to keep a manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently?
We are looking for a strong Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations, lead and develop the maintenance team, improve equipment reliability, and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical maintenance function while working closely with production, quality, engineering, and management to keep the plant operating at its best.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Direct and oversee the daily activities of the Maintenance Department.

Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel and subordinate supervisors.

Develop maintenance schedules, assign work, and adjust staffing as needed to support plant operations.

Establish and maintain effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Planned Preventative Maintenance programs.

Analyze equipment downtime and recurring problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Support plant operations by partnering with production and other departments to improve equipment reliability and overall efficiency.

Manage maintenance projects, including estimating costs, reviewing proposals, coordinating contractors, and monitoring completed work.

Manage the maintenance department budget, expenses, spare parts inventory, and equipment purchasing.

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.

Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.

Work with 2D and 3D CAD/CAM software.

Support equipment involving robotics and automated production systems, including training maintenance personnel on robot operation and maintenance activities.

Help establish and maintain high-quality welding processes and conditions.

Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, expense, and equipment records.

Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Quality, Safety, Delivery, and Cost initiatives.

Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards.

Assist with administrative and IT-related responsibilities as needed.

Provide occasional on-call support when maintenance issues arise outside normal operating hours.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide overall direction, coordination, and leadership for the Maintenance Department.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will bring:
-
2+ years of maintenance leadership experience in an automotive and/or manufacturing environment preferred.

Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance and equipment reliability.

Experience leading, developing, and managing maintenance personnel.
-
Experience with preventive maintenance, downtime analysis, and root-cause problem solving.

Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM or other computer-aided design/manufacturing software.

Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and/or robotics is highly beneficial.

Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively with production, engineering, quality, and management teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Experience with ERP or computerized maintenance systems is a plus.
