Nesco Resource in Elizabethtown is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager. Candidates will be interviewed by the company and will need a resume providing good work history.
The ideal candidate will be organized and responsible, have an understanding of mechanical and technical work and have excellent leadership skills. This person will direct and oversee all daily maintenance activities, including tracking mechanical performance, documenting and maintaining maintenance records and conducting any necessary repairs.
Maintenance Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee, lead and direct all maintenance procedures and operations
- Ensure all machinery is up to working standards
- Assess current maintenance work processes to optimize efficiency
- Lead proactively
- Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems
- Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing preventive maintenance checks of all machinery, tools, equipment, etc.)
- Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary equipment
- Conduct repairs
- Train maintenance apprentice in maintenance work processes and procedures
- Create a work environment with safety as the top priority
- Participate in planning capital expenditures
- Record and track monthly progress/error reports
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Create and adhere to maintenance budgets
- Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field preferred
- 5 years relevant experience as primary maintenance lead or manager
- Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems
- Previous managerial experience highly preferred
- Experience managing multiple vendors
- Ability to consistently maintain positive vendor relationships
- Ability to effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities
- Maintain safety as a top priority at all times
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data tracking
