Machine Operator – Stress Relief

Nesco Resource is hiring for a Machine Operator – Stress Relief position with our client in the Elmira/Horseheads area.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable working with computerized equipment and quality processes.

1st Shift 7:00-3:30 M-F
Payrate $17.00

Job Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate data for parts entering and exiting ovens.
• Process first-piece and sample parts for Setup Technicians.
• Sign off on completed processes and production documentation.
• Assist the Quality Manager with annual CQI-9 self-assessments.
• Wash, spin dry, oil, and dye parts as required.
• Follow all procedures outlined in the Quality Management System.
• Participate in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities as a team member or owner, including:
  • Root cause analysis
  • Action plan development
  • Verification of corrective actions
  • Application of lessons learned to prevent future issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Basic math and written communication skills.
• Ability to use computer software programs associated with the stress relief process.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
