Machine Operator – Stress Relief
Nesco Resource is hiring for a Machine Operator – Stress Relief position with our client in the Elmira/Horseheads area.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable working with computerized equipment and quality processes.
1st Shift 7:00-3:30 M-F
Payrate $17.00
Job Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate data for parts entering and exiting ovens.
- Process first-piece and sample parts for Setup Technicians.
- Sign off on completed processes and production documentation.
- Assist the Quality Manager with annual CQI-9 self-assessments.
- Wash, spin dry, oil, and dye parts as required.
- Follow all procedures outlined in the Quality Management System.
- Participate in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities as a team member or owner, including:
- Root cause analysis
- Action plan development
- Verification of corrective actions
- Application of lessons learned to prevent future issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Basic math and written communication skills.
- Ability to use computer software programs associated with the stress relief process.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
