Part-Time Machine Operator
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will safely operate machinery, maintain product quality, complete production records, and keep the work area clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate machines safely and efficiently according to operating procedures.

Inspect, trim, deburr, clean, and package finished products.

Follow production and quality-control instructions and meet production requirements.

Complete production reports, including quantities, downtime, and scrap.

Properly label cartons and record production quantities.

Operate grinders and properly identify materials for scrap and runners.

Communicate production issues, quality concerns, and shift information to team members.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions.

Provide suggestions for improving quality and production efficiency.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout an 8-hour shift.

Ability to work in temperatures typically above 75 F.

Frequent use of hand tools such as cutters, utility knives, screwdrivers, and other production equipment.

Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.

Good vision and attention to detail for quality inspection.

Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
