Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Pay:$22.00/hour
Location: Westborough,MA
About the Opportunity
We are currently hiring Machine Operators for a contract-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, team-oriented work environment where employees can focus on their work in a calm and supportive setting.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working on their feet, and able to closely monitor equipment and product quality.
What You’ll Do

Load and unload membrane materials used for filtration equipment into automated machinery for leak testing.

Operate and monitor automated equipment throughout the production process.

Perform visual quality inspections of finished products.

Measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

Monitor multiple machine parameters to keep products within required specifications.

Monitor and adjust parameters such as:

Temperature
-
Tension
-
Gap openings
-
Machine speed
-
Alignment
-

Inspect finished products for quality and appearance, including roughness, wrinkles, size, and pattern.

Work at different machine stations throughout the shift as needed.

Follow safety and quality procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
What We’re Looking For

Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and good measurement skills.

Good hand dexterity and ability to work with machinery and materials.

Ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Ability to closely monitor equipment and product quality.

Comfortable working in a production environment.

Previous experience working around chemicals is a plus.

Reliable and dependable attendance.
Requirements

Background check required.

Must be able to work the scheduled 2nd shift Monday–Friday.
