Position Summary
The Manufacturing Associate plays a critical role in the safe and efficient production of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants used in construction and industrial applications. This role supports the manufacturing process from raw materials through final packaging and may involve operating machinery, handling chemicals, monitoring production quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
The ideal candidate understands industrial safety practices, follows standard operating procedures (SOPs), and works effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, and safety regulations.
- Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all assigned tasks.
- Operate machinery and perform production tasks as instructed by supervisors or trained personnel.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and report any potential compliance or quality concerns.
- Perform production line startup and shutdown procedures as directed.
- Participate in cross-training across multiple production line positions.
- Maintain accurate production counts and documentation as required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Support Autonomous Maintenance activities by greasing, adjusting, or cleaning equipment components.
- Meet established safety goals and participate in safety initiatives.
- Assist in training new Manufacturing Associates and Laborers.
- Perform general labor duties as needed to support production requirements.
- Attend safety meetings and participate in safety audits.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Confined Space & Tank Cleaning Duties
After completing required confined space training, employees may assist with:
- Cleaning tanks and mix tanks on a rotating schedule
- Using shovels, air tools, and other cleaning equipment within confined spaces
- Following all confined space safety procedures and protocols

- Lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures

- Equipment operating procedures and manuals
