Nesco Resource is looking for a day shift Machine Operator located in Danbury, CT. This position is direct hire or temp to perm depending on the candidate.
Position Overview:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, and maintaining machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.
Pay:$17-$21/Hour depending on experience
Shift:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm (OT available)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate machines and monitor performance.
- Adjust settings as necessary for optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Inspect products for defects.
- Conduct regular quality checks and maintain records.
- Follow all safety protocols and use PPE.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Experience as a Machine Operator.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
