Machine Operator – Shelton, CT
Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Shelton, CT. This position is responsible for operating machinery, performing quality checks, and helping ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate vertical bar machines to manufacture electrical connectors
- Perform machine setup and changeovers as needed
- Conduct quality inspections using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Package finished products
- Follow all safety procedures and standard work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure daily production and quality goals are achieved
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operation experience required
- Experience using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Good math and measurement skills
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout an 8–10 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- High School Diploma or GED required
