We are seeking a Machine Oiler and Coolant Tech
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Check, maintain, and replenish coolant levels in CNC machines.
- Monitor coolant concentration using testing equipment and adjust as needed.
- Fill and maintain machine lubrication systems with the appropriate oils and lubricants.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on CNC machines.
- Clean coolant tanks, filters, and machine reservoirs.
- Remove chips and debris from machines as needed.
- Safely dispose of used coolant, oils, and waste materials according to company and environmental guidelines.
- Inspect machines for fluid leaks, unusual noises, or maintenance concerns and report findings to Maintenance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and fluid level records.
- Keep work areas clean and organized using 5S principles.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Assist maintenance personnel with basic machine upkeep and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Education and Experience:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Familiarity with CNC equipment, machine lubrication, or coolant systems.
- Basic mechanical or maintenance experience.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
