Nesco Resource is hiring a Logistics / Main for our local client in Hickory, NC
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Pay: $17.00 an hour
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving:Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight, inspect shipments for damage, and verify bill of lading accuracy.[ 1]
- Material Handling:Transport raw materials and finished products safely throughout the manufacturing plant using a forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment.[ 1]
- Inventory Control:Conduct cycle counts, track inventory movement, and log stock status using internal warehouse management systems.[ 1]
- Safety & Compliance:Follow all plant safety regulations, wear mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean warehouse floor.[ 1, 2]
- Experience:1 to 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
- Equipment Skills:Forklift certification or the ability to be trained and certified on-the-job.
- Physical Demands:Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and bend or reach consistently.
- Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent.[ 1, 2]
