Loan Services Analyst – Back Office (US)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Services Analyst to join the US Back Office team. This role is responsible for the accurate processing and administration of syndicated, bilateral, and agented loan transactions for the Natixis US portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of loan operations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process loan transactions across bilateral, participated, and agented credit facilities
- Administer daily loan operations including loan bookings, lender payments, fee processing, and cash movement activity
- Generate and distribute notices to lenders and borrowers related to loan activity and payments
- Monitor incoming funds within syndication accounts and ensure timely reconciliation of transactions
- Prepare invoices and support accurate financial reporting and recordkeeping
- Process amendments, assignments, and other transactional updates received from counterparties in a timely manner
- Review, investigate, and reconcile open items across assigned accounts
- Perform daily Corona reconciliations and monitor past-due reports, ensuring all discrepancies are researched and resolved promptly
- Authorize and validate various transaction types handled within the loan operations team
- Coordinate the setup, processing, and reconciliation of insurance-related payments in accordance with internal procedures
- Partner closely with Middle Office, Loan Trading, and Loan Booking teams to support seamless transaction execution and operational accuracy
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, banking regulations, and operational best practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in loan operations, syndicated lending, or bank back-office operations preferred
- Working knowledge of loan servicing processes, payment operations, and reconciliations
- Experience with Loan IQ required; familiarity with Payplus, Calypso, and Corona systems is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of banking regulations, operational controls, and industry best practices preferred
