Listed Clearing Specialist

New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of outsourced/offshore support teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of listed clearing transactions.
- Reconcile and maintain DTC and OCC positions, balances, and settlements while ensuring internal systems remain synchronized.
- Monitor clearinghouse margin requirements, OCC activity (including CMTA, exercises, and assignments), and resolve transaction exceptions.
- Collaborate with internal business units, affiliates, Front Office, auditors, and regulators to support clearing operations, reporting, controls, and process improvement initiatives.
- Validate outbound invoices for services rendered and oversee the allocation of clearinghouse charges.
- Prepare and validate recurring management reports and operational metrics.
- Participate in change management initiatives to support new products and services.
- Coordinate responses to audit and regulatory requests.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably within banking or brokerage operations.
- Strong knowledge of DTC (Depository Trust Company) clearance and settlement processes.
- Working knowledge of OCC (Options Clearing Corporation).
- Experience with trade settlements, reconciliations, cash management, and exception resolution.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with the Client Shadow platform is a plus.
